Join Kangas Mountain 2026
The Kangas Mountain Trail is one of Asturias’ most renowned mountain running events, acclaimed since its first edition for its stunning landscapes, excellent organization, and challenging routes. Held in the surroundings of Cangas de Onís, it brings together sport, adventure, and tourism in a single experience that attracts runners from across Spain and beyond.
The event offers several race categories designed for different levels of experience, from introductory routes for new trail runners to demanding mountain challenges that test strength, endurance, and technical skill. Each course takes participants through forests, open mountain terrain, and steep climbs, crossing the iconic Puente Romano and following the banks of the Sella and Dobra rivers.
More than a competition, the Kangas Mountain Trail is a celebration of trail running and natural beauty, turning every edition into a unique encounter between athletes, community, and the breathtaking landscapes of Asturias.
