Join us for the inaugural Chennai Navy Half Marathon, celebrating fitness, patriotism, and community spirit. Organized by the Indian Navy, the event champions two powerful causes – Drug-Free India and Women Adishakti Power. Runners can participate across multiple categories and experience a unique blend of athletic challenge and social purpose, running alongside Navy personnel and fellow citizens.
The Indian Navy is the maritime arm of the Indian Armed Forces, entrusted with safeguarding the nation’s maritime borders and interests. Guided by the principles of duty, honour, and courage, the Navy ensures security in the Indian Ocean Region, participates in humanitarian assistance and disaster-relief operations, and contributes to peacekeeping missions worldwide. Equipped with state-of-the-art ships, submarines, and aircraft, it is recognized for its professionalism and operational excellence. Beyond its military responsibilities, the Navy actively supports community initiatives, environmental stewardship, and national causes, inspiring citizens through events like the Navy Half Marathons.
