Giro dell'Umbria

The Giro dell’Umbria is a multi-stage road cycling race for amateur categories, held in Umbria, Italy. The event combines competitive cycling with regional tourism, history and local hospitality.

The race is planned as a five-day event across several Umbrian locations. The stages highlight Terni, known for its proximity to the Marmore Falls; Spoleto, with the Rocca Albornoziana and Ponte delle Torri; Cannara, linked to agricultural traditions and onions; Perugia, the regional capital with Etruscan and medieval heritage; and Gubbio, known for its medieval architecture and connection with Saint Francis. The event presents Umbria through sport, historic centres, landscapes, food and wine traditions.

The Stages and Treasures    Terni: The city of lovers and water, with the imposing natural wonder of the Marmore Falls just a stone's throw away.   Spoleto: A medieval and Roman jewel, a stage for art and culture, dominated by the austere Rocca Albornoziana and the evocative Ponte delle Torri .   Cannara: The heart of Umbria's agricultural tradition, famous for its excellent onions and the tranquility of its villages.   Perugia: The elegant capital, rich in Etruscan and medieval history, where Corso Vannucci and the Fontana Maggiore tell of centuries of splendor.   Gubbio: The "city of stone", a perfectly preserved dive into the Middle Ages, with the majesty of Piazza Grande and the deep connection with Saint Francis .
