The rivers Maas and the Waal form the backdrop for the tenth edition of the Two Rivers Marathon.
The Two Rivers Marathon winds through the Bommelerwaard with 42 beautiful kilometers along the rivers Waal and the Maas with the finish in the medieval center of the town of Zaltbommel. You actually have these rivers by your side for most of the route.
Two Rivers Marathon is unique for its atmosphere. Friendly, personal and authentic. This is highly appreciated by the participants. The beer and braai after the finish are legendary!
The marathon includes BIB timing, the special 10th edition running shirt, medal, Two Rivers beer. Along the route there are refreshment posts every 5 km, music and medical care. After the finish you'll walk 200 meters to the park on the old city wall, where you'll retrieve your bags, find showers, food and music.
