Join Two Rivers Marathon
The rivers Maas and Waal set the scene for the Two Rivers Marathon. This 42-kilometer course winds through the Bommelerwaard, closely following the Waal and Maas for most of the route and finishing in the medieval heart of Zaltbommel.
Known for its unique atmosphere, the Two Rivers Marathon is friendly, personal, and authentic—qualities that participants truly value. The post-race beer and braai are the stuff of legend.
Runners receive BIB timing, a medal, Two Rivers beer, and a special running shirt. The course includes refreshment stations every 5 kilometers, music, and medical support. After crossing the finish line, a short 200-meter walk takes you to a park atop the old city wall, where bags, showers, food, and more music await.
