One of the priorities of the Municipality of San José, as well as of the Cantonal Committee for Sports and Recreation of San José, is to promote initiatives and create spaces for the promotion of health and the improvement of the quality of life, through sport, recreation, and physical activity. That is why, in May this year, it will take place in the city of Capital, the First Marathon of San José.
The Marathon of San José is a competition for men and women, which will unite in several countries, calculating the participation of approximately 5000 athletes, several of them of the highest level.
