Join Ciclobrava by Orbea - Sea Otter Europe 2025
The Ciclobrava sums up Girona very well. The start and finish will be located at the Sea Otter entrance, at Devesa prominade, and the route takes in a training section with small climbs, the safety provided by roads with little traffic (where the professionals living in Girona train) and new landscapes for tour cyclists, as they ride between two opposing terrains: the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea.
We offer three routes, one a more demanding 150 km course with 2.000 mD+, although it is not extreme, as the intention is that Ciclobrava tour cyclists share their time between visiting the biggest bicycle festival in Europe and cycling, a more gentle 100 km route with 1.150 mD+, an faster track and a third track due to the demand of many participants that want to have enough time to visit the fair without loosing the option to participate to the cyclotourist during the morning, this one will be 70 km and 800 mD+.

There will be 4 mountain passes, Sant Grau d’Ardenya, Romanyà (pass from the second stage of La Volta 2019), La Ganga (pass from the third stage of La Volta 2019), and Montjuic, on the approach to the city of Girona.
CICLOBRAVA 100
Rolling
100KM - 1.150D+
Will also have 4 mountain passes, of which three will coincide with the long route, Romanyà (pass from the second stage of La Volta 2019), La Ganga (pass from the third stage of La Volta 2019) and Montjuic, in addition the Madremanya pass will be part of the route at kilometre 75.
CICLOBRAVA 70
70KM - 800D+
There will be 3 mountain ports, the first one at Santa Pellaia, new this year, it will be coincident with the medium and the short one track at Madremanya and finally they will climb the port of Montjuïc.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Race numbers will be collected at the Fontajau pavilion: • Saturday, September 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. • Sunday, September 21, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
If you wish to transfer registration to another person, this must be communicated by email and all the necessary details of the previous participant and the new participant must be provided.
What are the requirement to participate in this competition?
In order to participate, it is mandatory to be in possession of the corresponding cycling license approved by the UCI or the FCC, or to subscribe to the day license with the insurance provided by the organization. These are the only valid insurances accepted by the organization. Participants who do not have a license from the Catalan Cycling Federation will have to pay €10 for day insurance, which provides medical coverage for physical injuries suffered by the participant but does not cover material damage to the bicycle or other accessories.
