Join The Malvern Hills Ultra 2025
Malvern Hills Ultra kicks off and concludes at Abberley Village Hall. Participants can choose among several race distances: 23, 31, 38, or 47 miles, with the 47-mile option featuring a total ascent exceeding 2,900 meters. The race commences at 7:00 AM and has a cut-off time of 8:00 PM, giving participants a maximum of 13 hours to finish.
Navigation details: While the Worcestershire Way is well marked, participants must carry copies of our free downloadable maps and route directions available on our website. Additionally, a GPX file can be downloaded for use with a GPS device.
Supporting racers, our 'Time Lords' will be running at predetermined paces of 11, 12, or 13 hours. Upon completion, finishers will be awarded an official MHU medal and can select either a technical MHU T-shirt, mug, or hat as a memento.

MHU 38 will start from The Admiral Rodney, WR6 6PL
MHU 31 will start from Suckley Post Office, WR6 5DU
MHU 23 will start from Sally's Place, WR13 6DW
The course is self navigation and tough - although it is all on the 'Worcestershire Way' which does benefit from 'WW' signage along the route. With the use of the GPX files, or the maps and the written directions you can eliminate navigation issues. For those less confident with these navigation tools, but still wanting to take on the challenge, running with a timelord is the way to go.

How do I get to the race location?
If required, transport for MHU 37, MHU 30 & MHU 22 competitors can be provided to the various start locations which will cost £25.00 per person and you can secure your transport by selecting that option during your booking process. This must be booked prior to race day. Approximate times competitors will be transfered from Abberley Village Hall: MHU38 competitors will depart immediately after the main race start, be ready from 7:10 MHU31 competitors will depart at 8:25 MHU23 competitors will depart at 9:40 Transfer departure times will be confirmed by race email prior to race day.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Entry fees for all URL events are NON REFUNDABLE under any circumstance. Should circumstances dictate, or in the interest of safety, the organisers reserve the right to make such changes to the published event routes as may be deemed necessary at their absolute discretion. In the event of a force majeure, we the organisers reserve the right to a) reschedule or if this is not possible b) cancel the event. This will, in all cases be a last resort. Places can be deferred to the next edition of the event (an additional cost of £15 is charged), where the event is more than four weeks away. After this point, this option is no longer available. In special circumstances, the organisers may be able to transfer names of individuals to another events, at the organisers' discretion. Transfers can be requested by email up to 4 weeks before the event. No runner is permitted to enter or participate using another persons details.
