Located in an great natural beauty area, the municipality of Penacova is endowed with a huge network of unique pedestrian paths, with a huge offer of forest paths and single tracks along the banks of the Mondego River, which makes this place A privileged destination to embrace our sport.
The natural conditions of this territory located right in centre of Portugal, as well as proximity to Coimbra and availability of hotel supply, are preponderant factors in the capture of participants of the sport for this region.
The course has several forays on stunning trails that surround the entire Mondego River bend, with the main points of interest to Reconquinho Beach, the Miradouro Penedo do Castro, the Mirante Emídio da Silva and the iconic Livraria do Mondego.
