The race route is beautiful since it covers the most famous scenic spots of Hangzhou, however some road are narrow and some at the latter half of the race are with long slopes, and besides, the weather in early November is usually still hot for a marathon race, so it's not an easy run, but the scenery is very beautiful and there are cheerful crowds all along both sides of the road. The drinking beverage and snack are sufficient for runners both fast and slow. The finisher medal is designed with taste. All in all, it's not a good choice for a personal best race, but it's one of the top 10 races worth running in China.
