It was dark to begin with - so need to be careful and stick to the middle of the roads. I stopped to take pictures at a few locations... |

Not sure what happened this year but the traffic in and out of the start/finish line was disastrous. I left the hotel at 4:15 took me over an hour to get there and I almost missed the start as the traffic was horrible. Cars and Tuk Tuks all over the place and without control and no authorities to put order. For next year please put some controls on this part and have the traffics to work. Also the traffic to leave the park was out of control. A total mess to say the least.
This is my fifth time running and it was a Great idea to make us run counterclockwise which avoided runners arriving all together with the other distances. This year was very smooth and should keep it like that for next year |

Really well organised and total bucket list event with the sun rising over the temples as you run! The only disappointment was not having age group ranking as well as gender. Loved loved loved the overall experience - arriving and leaving by Tuk Tuk! And back at the hotel in time for 2nd breakfast and a soak in the pool!
The half marathon route was more interesting as it took us out further passed additional temple ruins. Nice flat, fast route other than the lack of light for the first 30 mins! |
