Join STHLM Loop

In STHLM Loop, you challenge no one else but yourself – so it's not a classic competition. We don't choose a winner - but everyone who runs to the finish line after the last start gets a medal. What distinguishes the STHLM Loop is the community, the joy and that the runners cheer and push each other. And that you, as a participant, choose your distance yourself. You can run anything from just 2.1 kilometers to a full 50 kilometers – an ultra in other words.

New for this year is that we have removed the longest loop - otherwise the track looks the same. You choose one of three loops which you then run up to ten times. The shortest loop is 2.1 kilometers – which is also the shortest distance you can run. The intermediate loop is 4.2 kilometers. The longest loop is 5.0 kilometers, making the longest distance you can run 50 kilometers.

Course highlights
The STHLM Loop has 10 starts spread over five hours. Every half hour after 11 o'clock there is a new start. You choose which loop you want to run. The first start is at 11.00 - but your start time depends on how many laps you plan to run. The last start is at 15.30. All runners must participate in this start - this means that everyone reaches the finish line approximately at the same time.

• Loop 1: 2.1 kilometers

This is a really nice course that is mainly on gravel and hardly contains any elevation gain. You can choose to run, jog or walk briskly - you'll still make it to the next start. Facts: Gravel 67%, asphalt 22%, grass 11%, number of height meters: 8.

• Loop 2: 4.2 kilometers

This is the loop for those who love trail running. You run mainly on trails and also get a number of serious slopes. Fairly tough course where after a few laps you can work on your forehead bone. Facts: Path 84%, asphalt 11% and grass 5%, number of height meters: 72 (approx. 17 m rise/km).

• Loop 3: 5 kilometers

This loop is 800 meters longer than loop 2, but may be perceived by some as easier to run. Here you mostly run on tarmac, the track is also not quite as hilly as loop 2. Facts: tarmac 68%, path 29%, grass (3%). Number of height meters: 52 (approx. 10 m rise/km).
