Join Ride Across Douro-Minho
Embark on a journey across the Douro River valley and the verdant Minho region. This adventure takes you through the Douro River valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest designated wine regions globally, as well as the lush greenery of the Minho region during the annual grape harvest and the splendour of early autumn.
Commencing in Porto, the city famed for giving Port wine its name, you’ll experience a perfect mix of winding and challenging routes paired with stunning scenery.
The route includes iconic climbs frequently featured in the Tour of Portugal, natural parks, a brief venture into Spanish territory, and a picturesque arrival by the ocean in the beautiful town of Viana do Castelo, where an exquisite meal awaits you.
A good night's sleep is crucial for recovery, and these smaller, often luxurious hotels, offer a more personalised experience with meticulous attention to detail and comfort.
Hotel selection is based not only on quality but also on their location, ensuring proximity to the starting and finishing points of each stage, thereby minimising the need for transfers.

* Participants who travel to the transfer departure points by car, and intend to leave it in Lisbon or in Porto, will have to find, the solution to safely park the vehicles by their own means.

In case of withdrawal there is a refund plan, with the refund of part of the amount already paid, depending on the date on which the withdrawal is communicated to the organisation. • Withdrawals communicated before 12:00 pm April 31st, 2024: Non-refundable fee: 300,00€ • Withdrawals communicated between 12:00 pm May 1st and 12:00 pm June 15th, 2024: Non-refundable fee: 50% of the total amount already paid for the complete pack and all the extra services. • Withdrawals communicated after 12:00 pm June 15th, 2024: There will be no refunds of any amount already paid.
