Ribera Run Experience

RIBERA RUN EXPERIENCE is a sporting experience whose center will be at the historic town of Peñafiel and especially two of its most treasured treasures: the Plaza del Coso, a medieval setting where the Start and Finish areas of the event will be located and where there will be located a good part of the parallel activities around the sporting event; And, of course, the most international emblem of the town and by extension of the  Ribera del Duero, Castillo de Peñafiel, since its walls with more than 500 years of history are home to the Wine Museum.

When someone hears about Peñafiel, the subconscious moves him into the world of wine. Bottles, barrels and wineries take over the mind of the traveler, but visiting Peñafiel is much more than putting your feet on the cradle of the Ribera del Duero.
Visiting Peñafiel is to travel into the past without using a time machine; is to open the palate to the flavors of yesterday, today and tomorrow; is to know in first person the culture, art and tradition forged over the centuries. It is, in short, to look back from the side, as you walk to the front with firm pace.
