Join International Peace Marathon of Kigali 2024
The International Peace Marathon of Kigali is an annual event that brings together runners from around the world to promote peace and unity in the capital city of Rwanda. Participants can choose to run any of the distances and will be able to take in the breathtaking sights of Rwanda’s beautiful landscape. The race is not only a sporting event but a chance to promote peace through sport and to help bring unity to the city. The International Peace Marathon is an event for all runners, regardless of their ability or experience, to join together and make a difference for peace.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Marathon Office Hall Mark Center, building of Ministry of Sports - KG 17 Av. - Remera (100m after Airtel) Open from Thursday to Saturday No Bib retrieval or registration on Sunday!
Visa info
A valid passport is mandatory. Visas are delivered on arrival free of charge for nationals of the African Union, Commonwealth and Francophonie. Nationals of all other countries get a Visa on arrival at a cost of ~25€ /30$.
Getting to Rwanda
All international flights arrive at Kigali International Airport, 10 Km from central Kigali. International flights are with KLM from Amsterdam, Rwandair from Brussels and London, SN Brussels from Brussels , Turkish Airways from Istanbul and Qatar Airways. Another good relation from Central Europe to Rwanda is with Ethiopian from Frankfurt/Main to Addis Ababa and then continue with a local flight to Kigali. Regional flights are with Rwandair, Kenya Airways and Ethiopian Airlines.
