If you are a seasoned athlete seeking a high-speed race, aiming to qualify for the GB team, or just a beginner looking for a secure and welcoming setting, Grafham Water is the perfect choice for you! This superb venue has hosted numerous acclaimed events, national championships, and races for GB qualification.
The Standard Duathlon consists of a 10km run, 38km bike ride, and another 5km run. Meanwhile, the Sprint Duathlon involves a 5km run, 17km bike ride, and a final 2.5km run.
The running portion takes place on a 5km loop course that utilizes the scenic footpaths of Grafham Water. You'll run across the iconic dam wall and then loop past the finish area, where you'll receive enthusiastic support. The second run for the Sprint event has a 2.5km lap and turns near the start of the dam. For the cycling segment, you'll have an out and back ride to St Neots, with minimal turns that allow for lightning-fast cycling. The Sprint distance will have a turning point in the village of Perry.
To ensure fair and safe racing, these events strictly forbid drafting. Rest assured, British Triathlon Motor Officials will be present on the course to enforce these

What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
You can transfer yourself to any other ATW event for a small admin fee of £5.00. If you are unable to attend due to illness, injury, family bereavement, jury service you will only be eligible for a credit on production of official evidence: Positive Covid-19 test result, Doctor’s note, Death Certificate etc.
When will I receive further information about the event?
The detailed race information including maps, details on parking, registration, baggage and start times will be e-mailed out to participants approximately 10 days before the event date. This sometimes ends up in junk mail so please keep an eye out for it!
