Ultra Sierra Nevada is a mountain race covering approximately 100 km of continuous ascent, starting from Granada and ending at the Pradollano ski resort. The course winds through forest paths and mountain trails, taking you all the way up to the stunning summit of Veleta Peak at 3,100 meters.
This race is the highest-altitude ultra marathon in the Iberian Peninsula and is ranked among the toughest races in Europe. It’s a true test of endurance, strength, and mental toughness. By conquering this challenge, you’ll not only push your physical limits but also discover the beauty of nature in its most raw and majestic form.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
All distance Location at Paseo del Salón (Granada) for all categories. April 1st, Thursday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and April 2nd, Friday from 12:00 PM to 9:30 PM Collection of race bibs, chips and runner’s bag for those registered in the MEDIA. PINOS GENIL – TOWN HALL SQUARE April 4th, Sunday from 7:00 am to 8:30am
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
The bib is personal and non-transferable. In the event that the race bib holder is unable to collect the bib, it may be collected by a third person on presentation of authorisation and a photocopy of the bib holder’s ID card.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Once registration is formalized, all participants will have the right to cancel their registration and receive the corresponding refund. 50% off up to 2 months before the event 0% from 02/02/2027 (After this date no refunds will be given without cancellation insurance)
Mandatory Equipments for ULTRA
Mobile phone, Front light, Red back light, Thermal blanket 1,4 x 2m minimal surface, Wistle, Cup for liquid, Lower part clothing: 1st layer, Backpack with capacity to carry 1 L, Upper part clothing: 1st layer, Upper part clothing: 2nd layer (long sleeves garment), Upper part clothing: 3rd layer, Lower part clothing: 2nd layer, Winter hat, Gloves, Running snow chains.
Recommended Equipments
Sunglasses: with plastic lenses. Walking sticks. (Only you can pick up or drop in the CP6). Sunscreen cream or lotion: Total protection. Electrolytes and/or mineral salts. Energy food: Energy bars, gels, fruits... Mini first-aid kit: With supplies for the treatment of minor wounds or scratches. Backpack: Appropriate to the volume of the material and pace of the participant.
When is the awards ceremony?
It will take place in the finish area as the podiums are completed.
Can I pick up my race number in the starting area?
Bib collection will be available 1 hour before the start for exceptional cases, after prior consultation via email.
