Join TAUT - Terras Do Ancião Ultra Trail 2025
TAUT – Terras do Ancião Ultra Trail, integrates 6 competitive events, two days of pure TRAIL in a setting in which the combination of art with landscape based on a natural element that characterizes them - the Stone. It takes place on the 7th and 8th of March 2025, it is already a reference at national level and we will continue to maintain this reference with the 11th edition of Trail Running, starting in Ansião, where it is planned to pass through the roads and paths of the Municipalities of Penela (Cumieira, São João do Deserto and Aldeia das Ferrarias de São João), Castanheira de Pêra (Peralcovo, Capela Santo António das Neves), Figueiró dos Vinhos (Cercal, Arega and Aguda) and Pombal (Freguesia de Abiul and Serra de Sicó) .
-Ultra Trail Endurance XL (180KM) 7am / March 7;
-Ultra Trail Endurance (110KM) 9pm / March 7th;
-Ultra Trail (60KM) 8am / March 8th;
-Trail (35KM) 1:30 pm / March 8;
-Trail Sprint (20KM) 2:30 pm / March 8;
-Youth Trail (13KM) 3:30 pm / March 8;
-Walk (13KM) 4pm / March 8th;
-TAKIDS 9:30 am / March 8th.
There will be a few hundred athletes looking for the “Stone Territories” and enjoying the São João do Deserto mountains, the villages and the beautiful trails of the Serra de Sicó and the banks of Foz de Alge. Beauty and hardness will certainly not be lacking and appeals to the Guardian Angel will arise, but, in the end, everyone will be surrendered to the charms and corners of the region, an integral part of the cultural network Território de Pedra, our magnificent mountain limestone massifs, where typical villages, with Its houses and loose stone walls, interspersed with the fields, are expected to have a good turnout from the various Trail teams in the region, from across the national territory and across borders, as has already happened in other events.
The two days of sport, conviviality and overcoming bring athletes into direct contact with the vast cultural heritage, namely Anciao, which gives its name to the event, which aims to publicize and promote sports in the form of Trail Running, but also the territories where the event takes place.
The routes with extreme natural beauty are not easy, but the trails and landscapes are worth all the effort.

Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Yes. You may authorize someone to collect the participation kit.
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
The participant may at any time request to cancel their registration, however, there will be no refund of the amount paid. When canceling registration, the participant is no longer entitled to the participation kit. Defer registration for future editions, unless proposed to the organization as a way of minimizing the impact of a cancellation, however you will always have to pay the administrative fee.
Can I transfer my registration to another person?
The participant can transfer their registration to another person. The registration transfer has an administrative fee. The deadline to transfer the registration is February 24, 2025.
