University of Utah Health Salt Lake City Marathon

The Salt Lake City Marathon is not only a tough course to maneuver; it can have some of the harshest conditions you can imagine. Snow-capped peaks followed by blossoms are both a part of the courses mainstay. One of the most scenic ways to see Utah, runners get to see nature and the countryside in all its glory.

Going from the city center through all the historic landmarks, there is also a brush with the unbelievable Wasatch Mountains, which will take your breath away. Not an ideal race for newbies, it is chalked full of obstacles and challenges that may require a little more experience. Unlike anywhere else on earth, the Salt Lake City Marathon is one of the most spectacular races a marathoner can master. It is definitely one for a runner enthusiasts bucket list.
