Join Meia Maratona Baía do Seixal 2026
The Meia Maratona Baía do Seixal will take place along the scenic bays of Seixal and Amora. This solidarity sporting event offers three distances: a Seixal Bay Half Marathon (21.097km), a 10 km race, and a 5 km walk/run. Join us in promoting fitness, unity, and community spirit in a picturesque setting.
Detalles de la ruta
10 km race – 10,000 meter course coinciding with the first 10 km of the half marathon. Starts at Silva Gomes Avenue, in Amora and finishes in the adjacent garden. Heads towards Seixal, passing by the Fraternity Bridge, Republic Avenue, 1st of May Square, Paiva Coelho Street, Youth Mud Avenue until the Sport Lisboa e Benfica Street roundabout where it returns via Youth Mud Avenue, Dom Nuno Álvares Pereira Avenue, Republic Avenue, Fraternity Bridge, Silva Gomes Avenue and finish line.
5 km walk/run – round trip, over a distance of 5 km, starting and ending at the finish line. It starts at Av. Silva Gomes, in Amora and ends at the adjacent garden. It continues towards Seixal, passing by Ponte da Fraternidade and Av. da República until reaching the GALP pumps in Seixal, where it returns, following the same route back to the finish line.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
The day before, from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm: at the secretariat in the starting zone, Amora. On the day of the race: from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM, at the secretariat in the starting zone, Amora. Only for participants residing outside the municipalities of Seixal, Almada, Barreiro, Moita, and Sesimbra.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
A refund of the registration fee is only permitted when a participant has a proven impediment to taking the event, provided that it is related to an accident or illness diagnosed after registration for the event through a medical certificate proving the inability to attend due to illness or injury; The amounts refunded to participants who meet the above conditions will vary depending on the date the refund is requested: Up to 30 days before the exam date - 60% of the fee is refunded Up to 20 days before the event date - 40% Up to 10 days before the event date - 30%
Time limits
The time limit for completing the Half Marathon is 3 hours, and all athletes who reach km 18 after 12:30 pm (2h30 of the race) will have to move through the pedestrian zone and follow it until the finish line. Athletes who have completed more than 3 hours of the race will not be classified.
