Join Schutz Marathon Hoorn
With a large variety of distances (5, 10, 21,1 and 42,2 km) we have a run-time run for each runner on each level. The road of the run is through the Golden Age region West-Friesland. The start and finish are in the capital of the Hoorn region. The road goes alongside the Markermeer, the biggest lake of The Netherlands. Schellinkhout and Wijdenes.
Hoorn has a rich history during the Golden Age where the first multinational of the World, The Dutch East Indian Company, has been started. Our road leads you to the first office.
Besides the run we can recommend you to visit our city during the Marathon-weekend. The historic inner city and our unique Westfries Museum tells the story of Cape Horn (Chile) and the Golden Age as well. Besides that, we have a wide variety of nice local shops, restaurants and pubs.

Near the finish location many restaurants and pubs with pavement cafes can be found. The distance between finish rental and changing rooms is approximately 500 meters.
Puestos de avituallamiento
There will be water and sponges provided at each 5k point of the race. For the 21K and 42K runners we also serve banana- and orange pieces.To refuel after the race we provide you a bottle of water, banana- and orange pieces.

For the marathon, the organization has a time limit of five hours established.

The time registration for all distances with the aid of the MYLAPS BibTag implemented system. With start and finish placed digital clocks.
