Love country marathons or prefer to run at your own pace? The Malbun Marathon is for you—no runner left behind. The race features a 12‑lap circuit, with each lap approximately 3.54 kilometers, set in the alpine ski resort of Malbun, Liechtenstein—an exclave of the municipality of Triesenberg at the end of the Vaduz–Steg road. The start sits at 1,600 meters above sea level, and each lap includes about 110 meters of elevation gain.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Those not staying overnight at the hotel can pick up their bib number on race day between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m. You can pick up your race number at dinner on May 22nd or at breakfast on May 23rd at the Hotel Turna.
How is the race timed?
Wearing a GPS watch (Garmin, Apple, COROS, etc.) is mandatory for all runners during the race. No GPS watch = no finish time. After the race, each runner must submit their GPS time, distance covered, and bib number to the timekeeper, who will record each runner's results. Otherwise, no finish time will be recorded. The times for 5 and 10 laps will also be recorded.
Is there a time limit for the race?
There's no time limit for the race. We want everyone to finish . However, finishing before dinner would be desirable.
