With its course entirely along Piedmont side of Lake Maggiore, the Lake Maggiore Marathon is considered by everyone as one of the most panoramic race in the world. SPORTWAY Lake Maggiore Marathon is organized under the rules of FIDAL (Italian Athletic Federation) IAAF (International Association Athletics Federations), EAA (European Athletic Association) and AIMS (Association International Marathon and Distance Races). Registration fees are not refundable. In the event of cancellation of the event due to force majeure, the Organizing Committee will not refund registration fees, but will consider transferring the participant to the next edition.
