Join Kazan Marathon
Kazan Marathon is held in Kazan – the third capital of Russia.
Kazan is the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, the city with a thousand-year history that lies on the shores of the Volga River and has a population of over a million people. It is one of the major economic, political, scientific, educational, sport and cultural centers of Russia, which fairly bears the name of the Third Capital of Russia.
The route of the Kazan Marathon passes through the historical center of the city and the most significant sights of Kazan: it is the majestic Kremlin with the graceful Kul-Sharif mosque and the Syuyumbike tower, the Palace of Water Sports and the Kazan Family Center, Pyramida KRK, Lake Kaban, Millennium Bridge, Kremlin Embankment , Old Tatar settlement, Kazan circus and many others.
The track runs in one circle and is planned to be as flat as possible with a climb of no more than 40 meters for the entire distance.
With that being said, the Kazan marathon is the place to be!!
In May there will be the Kazan Marathon.Apart from the marathon distance of 42.2 km, there will be also a possibility to run a half-marathon distance (21.1 km), 10 km and a fun-run of 3 km.
