The traditional cycling event returns in 2026 with its spectacular route and two distances. The first stage of Gran Canaria Bike Week and accredited with the UCI seal, the cyclists will face the challenge of conquering the legendary Pico de las Nieves.
Starting in Arucas , this race combines physical exertion with the enjoyment of the island's most iconic landscapes.
The Artenara option offers a shorter distance, ideal for less experienced cyclists who still want to test themselves.

This is the premier event, a high-altitude Gran Fondo, where riders will face the toughest mountain pass in Europe. The statistics for this event speak for themselves regarding the magnitude of this colossus: its 125 kilometers in length, 1,935 meters of maximum altitude, and 3,324 meters of accumulated elevation gain.
ARTENARA - 59km
Artenara will host the finish of this event. It will consist of a single timed section starting from Albercón de la Virgen, at the roundabout with the GC-292, turning left onto the GC-70, the start of Timed Section No. 1, crossing with the GC-700, continuing left on the GC-70 towards Montaña Alta, crossing with the GC-710 where we turn right towards Fagagesto on a slight descent, continuing on the GC-220 towards Fagagesto, at the crossing with the Presa de Los Pérez road we turn right, Presa de Los Pérez, Lugarejos, turning left onto the GC-215, Las Cuevas, and in Artenara, turning left towards the municipal swimming pool and on to the Artenara Viewpoint.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
The race number and participant bag will be handed out at the Arucas Tourist Office. Date and time – Friday, November 27th, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM – Saturday, November 28th, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
Once registration has been completed, no refund of the race fee will be made for any reason. Likewise, the change of ownership of the registration is not permitted. In the event of suspension of the event or postponement due to force majeure (adverse meteorological phenomena, flood, earthquake, explosion, accident, labor dispute or strike, civil conflict, decision of the competent authority, etc.), no action will be taken. the refund of the amount paid in registration, nor any compensation.
Mandatory material
The use of an approved helmet and appropriate clothing is mandatory, and any participant who does not specifically comply with this article must abandon the test. You must use the bib-chip provided by the organization on the day of collection of the bib. This bib-chip must be visible on the front of the bike tied to the bicycle handlebars for correct reading. Once each finish line has been reached, the handlebar number will be cut and given to the participant for use at the post-finish finish located in the Plaza de San Juan. It is not permitted to participate with another participant's bib number under any circumstances, nor to manipulate it. It is recommended that, to avoid fainting, the cyclist carry enough energy bars, gels or any other recovery product for intense efforts.
Participation with electric bikes
The use of electric bicycles is permitted under the following conditions: The bicycle must be a “pedelec” type. A “pedelec” bicycle is considered one that receives assistance from the electric motor only if the pedals are used. There is no limitation on motor power or battery capacity. The use of 2 or more batteries is allowed. The cyclist with an e-bike cannot help other cyclists with a traditional bicycle to move, nor to serve as a shelter for them. If the organization's means detect it, no times will be taken for the cyclists involved and it may be grounds for disqualification. They must respect the cut-off times established for the rest of the cyclists and will have a category with independent classification.
