Champa Ultra Race is a trail running event featuring six fully redesigned distance options, all 100% off-road. It takes place in the mountain region of Traslasierra, in the heart of Cerro Champaquí, and was the first event of its kind in the area.
Cerro Champaquí sits on the western edge of the Sierras de Córdoba, known as the Sierras Grandes. To the east lies the Calamuchita Valley and to the west the Traslasierra Valley. The summit marks the southern boundary of the Pampa de Achala.
