The ever-changing terrain, from soft forest trails to rocky summits, offers both a rewarding physical challenge and unforgettable scenery at every turn.
Whether you are an experienced ultrarunner or discovering trail running for the first time, Bugyly Trail has a distance for every adventurer. The 50 km ultramarathon is designed for seasoned runners seeking a demanding test, featuring five aid stations and nearly a thousand meters of elevation gain. If a marathon-length challenge calls to you, the 21 km Forest Trail traverses some of the park’s most scenic sections with plenty of opportunity to enjoy the landscape. For those looking for a shorter but still invigorating experience, the 10 km Shaitankol Trail offers a mystical route through the region’s heart. Beginner and youth runners are also welcome, with approachable 5 km and 1 km races ensuring all can participate and enjoy the magic of Qarqaraly.
Bugyly Trail is much more than a race; it is an immersive experience set beneath endless skies. Runners have the chance to camp under the stars, swim in crystal-clear mountain lakes, and gather around campfires to share stories over delicious traditional Kazakh food. When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
From July 17-19 from 10:00 to 19:00, at the address: Qarqaraly, House of Culture, T. Aubakirov St., 38. It is not possible to issue starter kits, including the contents of the set at other times, as well as after the start or end of the race.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
No. You should pick up by your self only.
How do I get to the race location?
The nearest airport is in Karaganda (KFG) - 220 km. Astana Airport (NQZ) – 400 km. Regular buses run daily, time: 8:30, 11:00, 16:00, the cost is 1000-2500 tenge (2-4 USD), travel time: 3 hours. Place of departure: Bus station, Karaganda. Taxi, Indriver: 3500 tenge (7USD), travel time 2.5 hours. Yandex taxi-intercity: from 800 tenge (1.5 USD). Start and finish place, tent camp where you can put up tents or rent: located at the address: Qarqaralinsk, Bugyly dam. Coordinates: 49.412524, 75.454145.

Will there be food at the camp?
Hot meals will be organized in the tent camp, where participants can eat at their own expense, in addition, in the city of Qarqaralinsk there are also cafes, restaurants and canteens where you can also eat.
