Broome International Airport Marathon

The LJ Hooker Broome Marathon Festival is held on Cable Beach, Broome in Western Australia.

The festival includes a variety of races including the 11.3 kilometre Matso’s Dash, the 19.6 kilometre Life and Soul Run or the full 42.2 kilometre LJ Hooker Broome Marathon.

Low tide ensures hard packed sand for this beach running festival. Come and run on one of the most amazing beaches in Australia, in perfect ‘Dry Season’ conditions.

All events run along the beach on hard packed sand, starting and finishing at Cable Beach. To ensure runners have firm packed sand, tide time are a critical part of selecting a suitable date.

High tide is nearly 9 hours after the marathon start.
