Outsider Events is thrilled to announce the grandeur of the 4th edition of the Blair Castle Trail Weekender, set to take place 2024. This year's event promises an even more remarkable experience with an expanded array of trail races, a captivating outdoor cinema, and an exhilarating lineup of live music on the Saturday evening.
Held within the enchanting grounds of the iconic Blair Castle on the Atholl Estate, this trail running extravaganza offers races catering to all levels, ranging from Kids and 7km sprints to the challenging 60km 'Full Tilt Ultra.' The event kicks off at the event village located in the scenic grounds of Blair Castle, nestled at the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park.
Participants will embark on their chosen race journey, navigating through picturesque landscapes. Depending on the selected race, runners will either loop past Hercules Gardens and return to the starting point, venture up the winding Glen Tilt, or ascend towards the majestic 1009m high summit of Ben Dearg. The question remains: which trail will you choose to conquer?
