Ards Half Marathon has established itself as a firm fixture in the N. I. road racing calendar since the first race in 2008.
Starting and finishing at Ards LeisuThe walk is approximately 9 miles of the half marathon route through Newtownards and the neighbouring countryside past Scrabo Tower.
re Centre in Newtownards, Co Down, the route takes runners through the towns and countryside of Ards. With a reputation for being one of the toughest half marathons in the province it’s a challenge well worth taking on and conquering.
The event takes place on the last Friday of June at 6.30pm.
It is held under an Athletics Northern Ireland Permit and has been accurately measured by AthleticsN.I.
