Amazean Jungle Thailand by UTMB

High Humidity, Rainforest Jungle Trail AroundThai-Malaysian Border.

Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center (SBPAC) and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports follow  the Prime Minister's policy to develop Betong as a sport tourism model by developing international level sports event "Amazean Jungle Trail".  This is aimed to create a new source of income for the southern border provinces.

The purpose of this event is to promote the image of Betong city and develop Betong tourism city in terms of sports and to the international level. It is aim to be a new destination for trail running athletes from around the world to travel to Betong and to join the competition.  This will improve economic value to the southern border provinces.  This project will also aim that Amazean Jungle Trail will be one of the world's leading international trail running events in the future.

Finisher will be UTMB® World Series awarded, having chance to participate the “FINAL” at UTMB® Mont Blanc, France ; 4 Running Stones and 100M Category Performance Index

4 Running Stones and 100M Category Performance Index, for Betong 140 finishers   3 Running Stones and 100K Category Performance Index, for Betong 100 finishers   2 Running Stones and 50K Category Performance Index, for Betong 50 finishers   1 Running Stones and 20K Category Performance Index, for Betong 25 finishers

The event will be held during 3-5 MAY 2024 at Betong Mongkhonrit Tunnel, Betong District, Yala Province.
