Where urban life converges with rugged peaks. Returning for another stage at the heart of Rio de Janeiro, which made its debut on the WTR calendar last year, is back. The WTR Floresta da Tijuca symbolizes the fusion of cityscape and mountain terrain, offering a fresh format with trails crafted to deliver an adventure rich in discoveries and a deep connection with nature. This challenge encompasses diverse landscapes and navigates the pristine Tijuca Forest National Park, situated in the center of Rio de Janeiro. Starting this season, the Tijuca Forest stage will contribute to the ranking as WTR 7.5k. For more details, consult the rules on the “Ranking” page.

What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
The amount paid will not be refunded in case of cancellation or non-participation in the event, nor will substitutions/exchanges of participants be accepted.
Compulsory equipment Mid and Long
– Hydration system during the route with a minimum capacity of 500ml, which must be self-sufficient (e.g. backpack, water bottle, belt).

Cup-free event
Hydration cups will not be provided for any distance. Athletes must have their own container for refilling/consuming isotonic drinks and soft drinks.
