Run the Regensburg Marathon in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Regensburg is a 2000 year old roman city. You will discover a lot of nice and famous buildings. It's an old city with modern parts along the course. 2019 we can run over the oldest stone bridge in the world after a 9 year construction. It will be one of the many highlights of the course.
Marathons runs have almost a 30 year tradition in the city.
The runners of the marathons , three-quarter marathons and half marathons run together the first round of 21 km. The half marathon stretch extends east to the Continental system test course and back to the start at the Infineon car park. The runners of the three-quarter marathon and marathon do not finish here, but go on a second or third round. The three-quarter marathon is run the quarter-marathon route and the marathon is twice the quarter-marathon route, which leads back to the city at the Ostentor. The runners stay in the old town and run in the world cultural heritage.

All participants will receive a medal and an online certificate, as well as trackside and finish-line catering, a pasta-party voucher, medical assistance, massage services and a clothing bag containing small gifts. There will also be music along the route and fringe events.
A substantial buffet awaits all runners at the finish-line (fruit, coke, mineral water, Bishofshof alcohol-free beer, etc.)

it depends on the run 1/4 Marathon min. 13 years; 1/2 Marathon min. 16 years; 3/4 and Marathon min 18 years
Lagerung der Ausrüstung
When picking up the bib number, each runner will be given a clothing bag. If requested, this can be deposited at a specially designated place for the duration of the race, and can be retrieved again upon presentation of the bib number. The organizer is not liable for any loss of deposited articles.

Timing
Timekeeping exclusively by Mika-timing, using ChampionChip and Single-Use ChampionChip. If you already have a yellow ChampionChip, write the 7-digit chip number in the respective field of the online registration form. Chips can be rented when registering for 6 Euros, or purchased for 31 Euros. If you wish to keep the rented chip for future competitions, Mika-timing will subsequently charge 25 Euros, for which you automatically agree when registering
Transport
There will be a free shuttle service at the train station at 7.25 a.m. and also from the City (Arnulfsplatz). There is also a busshuttle service from Köwe Center (Shopping Center) every 5 minutes
