Mudskipper Seneca Lake – Dresden offers a unique day of Swimrun and Open Water Swimming in the scenic surroundings of Seneca Lake, New York. Organized by Mudskipper Events, the event is based at Torrey Public Beach, welcoming participants to experience the thrill of alternating between swimming and running or to join dedicated open water swim races.
The Swimrun event consists of two course options, allowing competitors to tackle a single loop or the longer two-loop challenge. The course is structured with alternating swim and run stages, including several swims and runs through varied terrain. Participants in Swimrun must navigate the entire course while wearing their gear, such as running shoes during swims and wetsuits or swimwear for both disciplines.
For open water swimmers, separate race distances of 1 km, 2 km, and 3 km are available, all set in the clear waters of Seneca Lake.
