Media Maratón de Bucaramanga - FCV

Includes a technical T-shirt. In order that all citizens can be part of this event, FCV has organized in all its editions the recreational category; with a distance of 5K, the race will bring together children, youth, families and pets around an inclusive day of leisure and recreation.

This 21K distance is designed for people who are passionate about challenges and reaching their maximum level of effort. It is intended for those who have had a disciplined preparation and constantly go out of their comfort zone, frequently running distances of 10K and 15K. The competitive race will be attended by elite athletes of national and international nationality, who will seek to beat their records. This category is open to men and women over 18 years of age on the day of the race.

This has been the race with the greatest tradition and evolution since its beginnings in the region. Although it is less demanding than the half marathon, it has a route for high-level athletes or amateur runners who want to conquer new sporting goals and continue adding kilometers. The quarter marathon is committed to generate awareness spaces for the welfare of citizens; it has an elite category -in which people from 18 to 40 years old can participate-, and another one for veterans -for men and women over 40.
