Maraton Internacional de San Juan

We welcome you to the 9th edition of the San Juan Marathon, an event that offers a renewed and unique circuit with ideal weather conditions in July (between 6° and 17°C) so you can beat your records.
The 42 km race begins among mountains, from the Punta Negra Dam, and continues along the lake, passing through hills and vineyards, crossing the Quebrada de Zonda, the Eduardo Copello racetrack and traveling along the Ruta del Sol before reaching Libertador General San Martin Avenue. This section is surrounded by a beautiful boulevard and a typical grove that will accompany you to the heart of the city of San Juan. In this section, you will visit the most emblematic places of our province, such as the Government House, the Aldo Cantoni Stadium, the Parque de Mayo, the Casa Natal de Sarmiento and the San Juan Cathedral. All this is part of the attraction of the circuit, culminating and crowning you with a medal in the picturesque front of the Bicentennial Theater.
In addition to the 42km race, we also offer distances of 21km, 10km and 5km, so everyone can be part of the Urban Running Festival. Both professionals looking to improve their times and amateurs who want to enjoy the sport in the context of a great event that brings together runners from all over the country and abroad.
The 42km and 21km distances are certified by WORLDATHLETICS and CADA, which means a guarantee of quality, precise measurement of the route, international recognition, safety for runners and an opportunity for ranking and qualification.
