What is the Grand Trail de l'Izoard?
In 2020, Team High Trail Briançon organized the first edition of the Ecolo Trail de l'Izoard, a trail to promote ecology through the pleasures of running in the mountains
The first edition is organized in 2020, the 2nd in 2021. The races have as a starting point Villard Saint Pancrace and as a rallying point the valley of Cervière and the Col de l'Izoard
Participants and organizers commit to eco-responsible actions
Raising awareness through sport about the protection of the mountain ecosystem, respect for fauna and flora during sports activities and the sharing of the natural space between the actors (farmers, hunters, sportsmen)
The races evolving in protected natural areas, a particular focus will be brought to the respect, by the participants, of nature, animals, to the correct treatment of waste.
For the 2022 edition, the team is changing the name of the event, which becomes the Grand Trail de l'Izoard (GTI).
