Daegu is one of Korea's top three cities and an international sports city.
In particular, it was selected as the world's second international track and field city after Stuttgart, Germany, when it held the World Athletics Championships Daegu 2011,
It is an international sports city, such as the successful hosting of the World Masters Athletics Championships Indoor Daegu 2017 and the hosting of the World Masters Athletics Championships Daegu 2026
The Daegu Marathon has been holding label competitions certified by the World Athletics Federation since 2013.
It is Korea's representative sports festival, with 16,000 elite athletes and masters hobbyists participating every year.
In addition, the world's best prize money will be paid at the competition held on April 7, 2024.
The prize money for the first place is $160,000. Starting in 2024, you can run Daegu landmarks by changing it to a circular course that runs throughout Daegu.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
In the case of overseas Masters participants registered through Worlds Marathons. You can collect your race package on site on the day of the competition (April 7, 2024). Please arrive early before the competition. If you show your ID and participation number, you can receive your bib number and participation race package on the information center on site.
Can someone collect my race pack for me?
Your own race pack must be received by yourself. That's why we check your ID and participation number before receiving the race pack.
Can I change the distance after I purchase a ticket?
If you want to change the marathon distance, You can cancel the ticket you paid for and apply for a new distance again.
What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
All participation reception and cancellation refunds are due on March 8, 2024 at 6 p.m. For smooth operation of the competition, cancellations and refunds after March 8 are strictly prohibited.
