Bayshore Marathon, Half Marathon, & 10K

The marathon is an out a back course along the west shore of East Grand Traverse Bay. The course is flat, fast, and extremely scenic. All marathoners will receive a short sleeve tech running shirt with the Bayshore Marathon Logo . You will be given the opportunity to select a men’s or women’s shirt size when you register.

The Bayshore Marathon starts at 7:15 AM on the grounds of Northwestern Michigan College, then winds through one mile of residential neighborhoods. The majority of the race will follow the waterfront along the East Arm of Grand Traverse Bay including Birchwood Drive, East Shore Road, Center Road (M-37) and Bluff Road. The course is flat, 100% paved and shaded along much of the route. Expect a fast and scenic race with some of the most breathtaking views available on any marathon course.

The Bayshore course is certified by the USATF and is a Boston Qualifier.
