Join 67th Paranhos Race
Sport Comércio e Salgueiros, together with Eventsport, are organizing the 67th edition of the Volta a Paranhos, with the aim of encouraging the practice of sport as an element of promoting health and quality of life in the oldest event in the country.
On December 8, 2024, at 10:45 am a 10K race and a 4K walk, which are intended to be a real party for sports lovers. The event has the technical support of the Porto Athletics Association, Porto City Council, ÁGORA Cultura e Desporto EM, Portuguese Athletics Federation, Regional Arbitration Council, and Public Security Police.
Course details
Start at Rua Alfredo Allen, next to the Faculty of Psychology, heading north/south. Turn right onto Rua Dr. Manuel Pereira da Silva, pass through Largo da Igreja de Paranhos, and continue straight (against the flow of traffic) on Rua Delfim Maia. Turn right onto Rua Dr. Leonardo Coimbra, then left onto Rua Coronel Almeida Valente. Turn right onto Rua Conde de Abranches, left onto Rua António Bernardino de Almeida, and right onto Rua Alfredo Allen. At the end of the street, turn left onto Rua Dr. Manuel Pereira da Silva, then right onto Rua Dr. Manuel Laranjeira. Turn left onto Rua Augusto Lessa, right onto Rua Joaquim Pires de Lima, and right again onto Rua de Costa Cabral. Continue by turning right onto Rua da Constituição, right onto Rua Serpa Pinto, right onto Rua S. Dinis, and right onto Rua Capitão Pombeiro. Turn left onto Rua Antero de Quental, left onto Rua Vale Formoso, and pass through Praça 9 de Abril. Take Rua do Amial and turn right onto Rua Dr. Carlos Ramos. Turn onto Rua Conde de Abranches, left onto Rua Dr. António Bernardino de Almeida, and finally, turn right onto Rua Alfredo Allen. The finish line (META) is on the same street, next to the Faculty of Psychology and I3S.
