The Florida Marathon Weekend, located in Melbourne on Florida’s Space Coast, presents an appealing and exciting winter running event for participants of all ages and experience levels. Known for a lively atmosphere, the event features multiple musical performances along the courses. It welcomes walkers in its 5k, 10k and 1/2 marathon, and its marathon is a USA Track and Field certified and Boston Marathon Qualifying race. Participants experience scenic views, including bridge crossings, beachside paths, and a river front home stretch finish!
Runners World Magazine has named the Florida Maraththon Weekend as one of the USA’s Top 10 Waterfront Race Courses.
Course details
The Sunshine State Lager 10k takes runners on an out and back course across the Melbourne Causeway, onto Indialantic’s beautiful Riverside Drive before the turn around at the half-way point and then back to the same finish line as other race distances. The 10k includes four water/Gatorade stations and four musical acts along the route.
The 5k is a completely waterfront race that takes runners across and back the Melbourne Causeway. The route includes two water/Gatorade stops and two musical acts before finishing at the same line as our other race distances.

February 7, 2026 10:30AM – 5PM FRONT STREET PARK AUDITORIUM FOR GPS: 2205 Front Street, Melbourne FL 32901 SUNDAY RACE MORNING PACKET PICKUP STARTS AT 515AM. Closes 10 minutes before your race start time. Front Street Park, look for our feather flags!
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
There are no entry fee refunds for any reason. Free deferrals until one month before the race and then $35 until three days before the race. No deferrals will be accepted after Wednesday, February 4th, 2026 @ 11:59pm. NO EXCEPTIONS.
