No. Only assistance animals are allowed on course.
Do I need to be registered to run with my chlid?
Short answer is yes, as its a requirement of our insurance. If you have already entered one of our other events and are running with a child to support them, leave your bib on after you finish the 5km or 10km event, so our officials don't get confused!
Where do I go if I have lost some property?
Lost property can be handed in or claimed at the registration desk.
Will there be Pace Runners?
Pacer Applications are managed by the Tasmanian Road Runners (TRR). On the day each ‘TRR Angel’ will be easily identifiable in their ‘TRR Angel’ tops with their pace time clearly visible on a flag attached to their back. TRR also organise ‘Foot Soldiers’ whose job it is to come last.
Can I wear headphones or earphones while I compete?
The Burnie Ten committee advises against wearing ipods and other personal audio devices for your safety and those around you. A safe runner is fully aware of their surroundings. However, it is not mandatory.
