The natural conditions of this territory located right in centre of Portugal, as well as proximity to Coimbra and availability of hotel supply, are preponderant factors in the capture of participants of the sport for this region.
The course has several forays on stunning trails that surround the entire Mondego River bend, with the main points of interest to Reconquinho Beach, the Miradouro Penedo do Castro, the Mirante Emídio da Silva and the iconic Livraria do Mondego.
