Join Moschopodi Trail
For the sixth consecutive year the "trail" returns to the forest of Moschopodis in Thebes.
This is a trail running race, with 5 different routes. A 25 kilometers, 11 kilometers of running, 8 kilometers of hiking , 30 kilometers of Mountain Bike Race , 15 kilometers of Mountain Bike Race and 1 kilometer children trail run.
The race takes place in Thebes, one of the oldest cities in Europe.
Thebes (Thíva) is a city in Boeotia, Central Greece. It played an important role in Greek myths, as the site of the stories of Cadmus, Oedipus, Dionysus, Heracles and others. Archaeological excavations in and around Thebes have revealed a Mycenaean settlement and clay tablets written in the Linear B script, indicating the importance of the site in the Bronze Age.
Starting from the open theater "Melina Mercouri" all the routes are directed through the forest, meeting demanding routes, which require ropes, jumps and many more that raise the adrenaline to the heights.
