Læsø Ultra is one of Denmark's most exhilarating ultra races, which, upon arrival at Vesterø, sends you directly from the Læsø ferry Margrethe's car deck into the island's stunning natural surroundings. The ferry signals the start with a horn as soon as the gate to Læsø opens. If you opt for an overnight stay on Læsø, the race begins from the ferry berth, and you set off as soon as the other participants disembark the ferry.
From there, the route takes you across the beach, along small roads, gravel paths, through forests, and along delightful trails around the island before returning to Vesterø. The finish line is at Guesthouse Læsø, where a delicious meal awaits you.
