Join Girls & Women Run
This annual 5K Run is dedicated to the International Woman Day and Woman Month of March. Women of all ages are encouraged to run or walk in the heart of Kinshasa. It is our mission to empower and connect girls & women through running in order to improve their lives and to create a growing women running community.
With our Running for Good Cause program, we are happy to be joined by 'Women For Women International' this year to raise awareness and funds for their organisation. Women for Women International serves women living in some of the most dangerous places in the world through a one-year programme, where they learn how to earn and save money, improve their family’s health and have their voices heard - at home and in their communities.
50% of all ticket sales will go to the organisation.
The Girls and Women Fun Run is part of Congo River Maratho Events, organiser of the biggest mass participation event in the heart of Africa and dedicated to educate and inspire children and adults across the DR Congo to lead active and healthy lives.
