This is an immensely popular race where determined runners tackle the trail for a challenging Half Marathon or 10k at Cannock Chase. Although it's a demanding event, it welcomes participants of all abilities, from novices to seasoned athletes, making it ideal for inclusion in ongoing training regimes. Set against the backdrop of stunning woodland, with golden sunlight filtering through the autumnal canopy and creating dappled pools on the trail... who could possibly resist?
Course details
The terrain is likely to be uneven; please keep an eye out for protruding tree roots and slippery surfaces especially if the weather has been wet leading up to race day.

What is the cancelation/refund policy for this event?
We believe that our policies for deferrals and transfers is one of the most flexible and generous amongst race organisers and, for that reason, we do not offer refunds of race entry fees for illness, injury, or any other reason. In much the same way as you would not expect a refund for a theatre ticket if you were unable to attend, we are unable to offer refunds for race entries sold.
