Perth Running Festival is a running event held in the City of Perth, Scotland, with routes starting and finishing at the historic Perth Racecourse. The festival offers a choice of distances suitable for experienced runners, first-time participants, families, and children.
The event takes place in an area closely linked to Scottish history, near Scone Palace and the Stone of Destiny. The routes follow scenic sections along the River Tay, pass green spaces such as the North Inch, and include views of some of Perth’s historic surroundings.
The festival combines running with the heritage and scenery of Perth, offering a community-focused event for a range of ages and abilities.
Course details
The 7.5km route is a traffic-free out-and-back course on paved paths, starting near Scone Palace and following sections around Perth Racecourse and the New Destiny Bridge.
The 1 Mile 8 Furlong Fun Run is aimed at children, families, and first-time runners. Pre-race information and an athlete guide are provided before the event.
