The Almaty Half Marathon is one of Central Asia’s largest spring running events, bringing together 21.1 km, 10 km, and 10 km Nordic Walking distances. Held in Almaty, the city known as the “Garden City,” the race takes place at the height of spring, when the streets are filled with greenery and mountain views.
Each year, more than 10,000 participants from over 20 countries line up at the start, united by a shared love for running and an active lifestyle. The event is a member of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), and all courses are officially certified in accordance with World Athletics standards, ensuring accuracy, safety, and an internationally recognized race experience.

When and where can I collect my BIB/race pack?
Starter kits will be issued on 17-18 April 2026 in Almaty. The exact address to pick up your kit will be announced later. No starter kits will be issued at the start area.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for this event?
