Join Ruska Marathon
Welcome to the 37th Ruska Marathon in Finnish Lappland's Kittilä Levi Ski Resort. We are located about 170km to north from the Arctic Circle. As well as you enjoy the runs you will experience beautiful Fall Colors, our pure nature and amazing athmosphere at it's very best!
Ruska Marathon is one of the oldest marathon events in Finland. The event has taken place every year since 1984.
Expected number of runners: about 2500
Running tours: Full Marathon, Half Marathon, Ten (10km) and Trailrun (21km).
Series:
Full and Half Marathon/ men and women common, 40 years 50 years, 60 years and 65 years
10km run / men and women 14 years, 16 years, common, 40 years 50 years, 60 years and 65 years
Trailrun / men and women common
Other runs/activities (registration on race day only and at local race office): Fall Colors Trip (6,5km) and Kid`s Run (ages 4 to 12 years, distances 200m to 1000m)

After Race Services
A small snack and drinks (see "refreshments") showers, luggage store, toilets. Shower places will be updated closer the event date.

Aid Stations
Medical station and ambulance is located close to the finishline. Toilets are available at the service point stations and aroubd the race office
Award Medals
Everyone who finishes a race will receive a medal. Prizes will be awarded to the 3 best participants in each age category.
Equipment Storage
In tents around the race office (Zeropoint)
Maximum Time
The timing will be closed at 6 PM

Race Kit Includes
Tube scarf, race BIB, timing chip, finisher medal and service before, during and after the race.
Refreshments
Water, Fast Sport drinks and picles at every service point stations. A small snack bag from the finishline service (recovery drink, banana, choco...).
Timing
We are using chip timing system. This means that your time starts when you cross the start line.
Transport
From the Kittilä airport to the Levi centre it is about 16km. There are busses and taxes going from the airport. Tickets on site.
