Where does running take you next?

A well organised and well supported closed road event. Friendly and helpful staff. The route is flat and fast. The race was a lot more popular than I thought it would be with over 2000 runners in the half marathon alone. You don't finish where you start but there are shuttles back to the start point and the bag drop system worked well. The post race package was great with food vouchers, ice creams and drinks. I didn't see the need for an event shirt and a finishers shirt. Just more luggage. I wish more races made the T shirts optional. The 4am start for the half marathon was a bit early, I think 5 or 5.30 would have been better and meant less running in the dark. All distances meet up to run the last 3kms together. I personally quite enjoyed that but if you are a fast finisher you could find that annoying as a bit of weaving is necessary. There are well priced hotels close to the start. Enjoyed my time in Korat too, bike hire was cheap, a few sights to visit and great food and culture. Spend a few days if you can. I would definitely run this race again.

It was a really beautiful race, solidly organized, the race track was great, there were a lot of things to see.

Amazing experience, sunrise on the pan was incredible. Very well organized event.
